So here I am

-20 years old
-Used to live in CA
-Now live in FL
-Going to live in MA in a matter of months
-2.52 GPA and 59 credit hours
-Would like to own a bakery and design wedding cakes for a living

This puts me in a rough spot. I currently work full time in a grocery store bakery; it's nothing special. I have decided that culinary school is not worth my time and money, and pursuing my daydreams of owning a bakery seems silly. Owning a bakery would make it difficult to be with my boyfriend, who moves about once every two years, and the economy I'm sure does not feel like supporting a bakery of my tastes at this point in time.

But that's okay, because as long as there are people, there will be sick people. I have decided to jump on the bandwagon and try to become a nurse. The thing is, it seems as though I messed up too much previously in my college courses. If I were to ace all six of my classes before entering nursing, I would come out with a 2.87 gpa. I need a 2.75 to get in. This may not seem so bad, but I am terrified that I won't make the cut and the people with the higher GPAs will get there, leaving me stranded.

How can I possibly have messed up my whole future by age 20? I refuse to believe that this is the case, so I have made a blog dedicated to showing through my experiences how we can bounce back from a couple years of carelessness.
